About

Erebus Productions seeks out stories with a human heart, exploring the intersection of people’s lives with the natural world, focusing on wildlife and nature, history and culture.

We make genre-spanning, character-driven documentaries showcasing the corners of the natural world which have often gone unnoticed. We spotlight underrepresented histories and threatened traditions, and ensure that the impact of the climate crisis is woven into the fabric of our stories.

Erebus produces work for some of the most popular programmes on Italian national television and has been an official content provider for RAI and Mediaset for 15 years.

Our work has taken us from the desert highlands of Iran to the frozen tip of Norway, Mexican jungles to New Zealand’s island shores. From documenting underwater life found deep in the Pacific to the scientists at work in the far corners of Antarctica and Nepalese crafters keeping ancient traditions alive
